What We Do

— Inclusive Support
To ensure all our service provision is barrier-free and inclusive, I Was Gonnae will fund the cost of the employability and musical experience services through a mix of ‘in-kind’ contributions, Trust and charity funding, crowd funding, commercial sponsorship and public donations.

— We Inspire
I Was Gonnae aims to inspire and motivate individuals using a variety of services including knowledge obtained from speaking to some of Scotland’s most successful people within the I Was Gonnae podcasts and we incorporate this knowledge into our training and events allowing us to build a virtual business and also offer management services.

I Was Gonnae will provide a forum for hope, increased wellbeing, knowledge and confidence ensuring we all live in happier and healthier homes and communities. We believe that there is significant room for improving the performance within this sector and are passionate about bringing a person-centred approach to improve and reintroducing excellence into the sector. We aim to be part of a paradigm change in how people are supported to realise their potential benefiting society as a whole and making Scotland a more confident nation.

I Was Gonnae help both unemployed and employed people examine all aspects of their personal and employment life using a variety of virtual based tools, techniques, encouragement and motivation for success within the I was gonnae 5 Steps Employment Programme.

I Was Gonnae understand the power of music and its ability to emotionally and positively change your (outlook on life) mental state. We provide a range of fully inclusive and barrier-free virtual and studio based musical experiences. If you like to sing or even just listen to music we have a programme to inspire you which will bring light and inspiration to your day.
